We have recently received reports that there have been automated phone calls being made to people in our area. The callers claim that our members' accounts have been deactivated. In addition, persons posing as representatives of various Federal agencies, including the National Credit Union Administration and the National Association of Federal Credit Unions, have contacted some credit union members in an attempt to gain personal account numbers and other personal information relating to their credit union accounts. PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE ARE ALL FRAUDULENT SCAMS.
